|I have trees that flourish this time of the
year with berries- one I know is a holly-
the other tree, I can't identify but, the
berries are pretty & red-
How can I perserve these berries for use
as decoration or potpourri?
|Holly berries, red crabapples, cranberries and so on can be strung with a needle and thread but unless they are kept quite cold they shrivel and look terrible. Rose hips, however, dry nicely and can be used year round for decorations. There are also numerous types of exotic berries sold by craft shops and dried flower suppliers which will look good over time.|
