I can't find a description of a plant called Turnea, but Turraea obtusifolia, or Star Bush, is an evergreen shrub native to South Africa. It grows slowly to 4'-5' tall and 4' wide in light shade with ample water. It produces many drooping branches with 2" long, dark green, glossy leaves and develops star shaped, narrow-petaled, pure white flowers, 1 1/2" across in loose clusters. The plant is temperamental, needing good drainage, shady conditions and protection from temperatures below 26F.

As with all plants, dig a generous hole so the roots can be spread out naturally. Place the rootmass on a pile of soil at the bottom of the hole so that it rests at the same level as it was growing in the pot. Backfill, gently tamping the soil in around the roots. Water well to eliminate any air pockets around the roots. Be sure to provide your new plant with one-inch of water per week, applying slowly so it will thoroughly soak the entire root mass.
