| When it is recommending to pile soil around your roses, is that referring to regular soil from the ground or from a bag of top soil. Would the top soil directly around the roses be too rich? Would it burn the roses? |
| Normal garden soil or bagged top soil would work, either one. If you use garden soil, do not dig it up from immediately around the bushes though because this might disturb the rose's roots. |
