|Probably the most important thing will be to run some soil tests and find out what condition the soil is in right now. Your County Extension (786-2251) should be able to help you with the tests and interpreting the results in view of what you want to grow. They should also have the most up to date recommendations on varieties and cultural practices for growing a good crop of sweet corn in your local area. Good luck with your project!
