Pale Blue Hardy Geranium - Knowledgebase Question

I have several Johnson's Blue Geraniums in my garden. Two years ago a volunteer came up some distance away. The bloom color is nothing like the Johnson's. Instead, it is a very, very, pale icy (true) blue. Is this a known variety, or do I have something new?

The perennial geraniums are known for their ability to seed down. There are a number of named varieties of perennial geranium, but if you have grown only Johnson's Blue then it is more likely you have what is called a chance seedling that happens to be rather nice. Enjoy!
