I have Pink Ruffle Azaleas in my yard. All the leaves are turning orange. What causes this? |
It's likely that the leaves are turning color just prior to falling off. This is similar to the way tree leaves change color in the autumn. All the stored carbohydrates in the leaves are being transported to the roots of your azalea. When the process is complete, the leaves will fall off, signalling the end of the growing season. New leaves will emerge in the spring. |
