What is the most COMMON popular kind of indoor house plant that can start to grow within 2 weeks so that you actually start to see the stem? |
Unfortunately the most common houseplants are started from tip cuttings rather than seed, and so they already have a sturdy stem right from the beginning. If you need to start one from seed you might have success with basil or coleus. Keep in mind that the seeds will germinate faster at warmer soil temperatures so you might want to try using some gentle bottom heat to warm the soil to about 75 degrees or so. |
