I know that if hungry enough, deer will eat just about anything. That being given, if all things are equal, will they go after horseradish?

In my experience they have not eaten the foliage (yet), however they seem to learn to eat new things every season so I would never rule it out. The best defense is, sadly, a fence. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
