|What is the proper care for starting trees from seeds?|
|All seeds, whether perennial, annual, tree or shrub, have their own germination requirements. Some need light, some need heat, and some need a pre-germination chill or seedcoat chipping in order to germinate. If you haven't yet started your seeds, send us another inquiry about the specific seed you want to sprout. If you've already germinated the seeds, the seedlings will need light for about 12 hours each day, protection from drafts and cold temperatures, and enough water to keep the soil moist, but not soggy wet. When the weather warms in the spring the seedlings can go outdoors in a protected area to continue developing.
