|I planted tomato and broccoli seeds about three weeks ago. They came up but now they are beginning to look spindly. I keep them in a window where they get warm sunshine, but they just do not look good. What am I doing wrong?
|It sounds like your plants are not getting enough light and are also too warm. Broccoli is a cool weather vegetable so it definitely needs cooler conditions to keep it stocky. If you can manage it, put the plants under a fluorescent light (like a shop light) as soon as the seeds germinate. The light needs to be no more than six inches above the plants. Good luck!
