How do I go about pruning a Lady Banks Rose? Does it even require pruning?

Your Lady Bank's Rose is a vigorous climber that doesn't require annual pruning, but it's often pruned or pinched back just to keep it under control. If you want it to overtake an area, just leave it alone, to do as it may. You can prune out any dead canes or branches as necessary as the plant matures.
