I need to know when to plant bulbs for them to come up in the summer, and for fall etc.

Typical spring bulbs would include crocus, daffodils and tulips. Summer bulbs would include lilies (lilium). Fall bulbs would include fall-blooming crocus (colchicum) and winter bulbs would include the amaryllis and paperwhites used for holiday forcing.
