| Burpee offers the Maxim Hybrid Mix which includes pansies with the traditional or old fashioned dark pansy faces. Perhaps that is what your friend was calling a clown face? Other possibilities might be torenia (sometimes called wishbone flower) and mimulus (sometimes called monkey flower) both of which have funny faces of a sort. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. |
