Seeds of vinca should be sown 1/16" deep in moistened seed starting mix. Cover the trays or pots with plastic wrap to help hold in moisture, then place in a warm area such as on top of the refrigerator. Seeds are erratic to germinate, but seedlings should appear in 15-30 days when kept at 70F-75F. As soon as seeds sprout remove the plastic wrap and place the trays or pots under a source of artificial light. If you use fluorescent lights, keep the bulbs about 3" above the tops of the plants. Transplant outdoors in the spring when the soil warms.
