Is the evergreen tree Canadian Hemlock toxic to goats if they eat the leaves or bark? I would like to enlarge my goat pen around this Canadian hemlock tree and it is too big to transplant.

Although Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum) is certainly toxic to goats and other animals, I am unable to find a reference to the tree (Tsuga canadensis) being particularly toxic to goats. I would strongly suggest you confirm this with your veterinarian, however. You might also want to take steps to protect the tree from any potential damage caused by the goats.
