My roses have developed yellow and black spots. Please Help! |
Roses are very susceptible to fungal diseases. You can pull the infected leaves off, and be sure to rake up any fallen leaves. Since it's early in the season you can prune out the infected canes, stems and leaves and remove them from the garden. Then spray the remaining canes and branches with a fungicide, to make sure all of the disease is stopped in its tracks. You'll be doing your plants a favor by pruning - you'll also open them up to better air circulation, which will make them less susceptible to fungal disease. |
