Good soil preparation will reward you with healthy, thriving, productive plants.

Spread 3"-4" of organic matter over the bed and till it in to a depth of 6" - 8". You can use aged-compost, aged-manure, leaf mold or peat moss. Organic matter will loosen the soil, help it hold moisture, and provide nutrients to the roots of your plants.

Hope your new garden is spectacular!
