I've been looking for morning glory seeds around town for sometime now and no one seems to carry them. Are morning glories suited for the Phoenix area? If so, are there better or worse varieties to choose from?

Most species of morning glory (Ipomoea) are regulated as noxious weeds by the state of Arizona because they spread so invasively and choke out native vegetation. Only I.carnea, I. tribloa, and I.aborescens are allowed. Here is a publication site from the University of Arizona that has more info on noxious weeds: ag.arizona.edu/pubs/natresources/az9610.pdf.
