I recently purchased an Asteriscus Maritimus 'Gold Coin'. It is a beautiful yellow daisy-like flower. I was unable to find any information about it on your website. I need to know about the proper care and characteristics of this flower. I plan to put it in a bed that gets about 5 hours of afternoon sun. Is that enough?

This plant is native to the Mediterranean region, and so does best in a warm, dryish climate. It is a herbaceous perennial (that may become woody toward the base) that forms small tufts from 2 to 10" tall. Its small size makes it especially suited to rock gardens. The plant requires a sandy, well-drained soil; I think the sunlight level you have will be sufficient.

Good luck!
