Bouvardia likes average household warmth (minimum 50F in winter), and a brightly lit spot with protection from hot afternoon sun. Water liberally from spring until flowering stops, then keep soil fairly dry. Bouvardia likes humidity, so mist the plant daily. Given the right conditions, Bouvardia will flower almost continuously from mid-summer through early winter, providing clusters of fragrant, tubular blooms, in shades of white and pink or double pink. The main requirement is a cool, but brightly lit spot during the winter months.
