|I found what looks like strawberries in on my lawn. The leaves are exactly like a strawberry plant but smaller. They even trailers like a strawberry plant. The only difference is that it has pretty yellow flowers. Did I find a wild strawberry or a pretty weed? Thank you for your help and your very informative web site.|
|What you're describing sounds suspiciously like creeping buttercup, a noxious weed in some parts of the country and an obnoxious weed in other parts of the country!|
The flowers are pretty, but the plants spread by runners and underground rhizomes. If you don't control the plants by digging them out now, you'll have a yard full by the end of the season!
