Partial Shade Shrubs - Knowledgebase Question

What would be a good shrub to plant between the road and a pine grove. Would like flowering shrubs.

Based on the information in your question it is a bit difficult to make a recommendation. If the distance is small and there is a lot of salt coming off the road in the winter, then it may be that it is better left unplanted. If the trees are very large and their roots are throughout the area, keep in mind that it may be difficult to establish new plants there. However, here are a few suggestions. You might try rugosa roses, forsythia, spirea, lilac, or burning bushes if the area is sunny. If it is somewhat shady, you might try some of the hardier types of rhododendrons.
