I recently purchased three Pee Gee Hydrangea Shrubs and would like to know how far apart to plant them. I would like to use them as a hedge for privacy. They will be getting sun from the East directly on the first one in the row and filtered Southern Exposure because of a woods on the Southern side.

Pee Gee hydrangeas can grow 15' high with an equal spread, but most are kept much smaller. Plan on about 10' between plants to provide ample room for each to grow. If you want the plants to provide a privacy screen, you can plant them closer - about 6' apart - and they'll fill in quickly.
