Too Many Irises - Knowledgebase Question

I have a bed with irises and they are multiplying like rabbits. I have moved some in other beds, given a few to friends... but I still have too many and can't bear to throw any away. My problem is that I have so many irises that I hardly have any ground left to plant my annuals. (I mix annuals in this bed so that I will have some flowering after the irises bloom.) Do you have any suggestions or should I just throw away the excess?

Apart from adding more growing area, you'll have to dispose of the excess somehow. Giving them away, throwing them away, swapping them for other plants, donating them to a benefit plant sale or selling them for profit would all be options.
