I have two strawberry jars and would love to start a container herb garden. Could you suggest fragrant herbs and some for tea appropriate for zone 6?

Unglazed terracotta strawberry jars are usually difficult to keep well watered, so the best selections would be among the herbs that tolerate a drier, well drained soil. For fragrance and teas, try any of the thymes as well as lemon verbena, chamomile, and scented geraniums. If you add a water holding polymer to the soil, you should be able to grow mints and basil in your jars as well.
