This is growing at the base of my desert rose plant and I want to know what the name of it is. ![]() ![]() |
The succulent ground cover. Sorry about the photo quality. |
It looks just like the St. John's Wort growing underneath my corkscrew willow tree. |
Hi Tropicalisland, I'm not certain but the plant in question sure reminds me of Artillery Plant (Pilea microphylla) |
I don't think it grows high though I think it just grows in width I saw some where it might be Bearberry CrotonEaster |
LOL, my eyesight isn't the greatest anymore. Check out the photos for this Bearberry Cotoneaster in our database for comparison, it only grows 8 inches tall but 6 to 8 feet in width. Bearberry Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster dammeri 'Streib's Findling') |
Now that you showed me those images about it I doubt it's that cuz it doesn't grow berries |
How long have you lived where the plant is growing? (Maybe I should ask how long the plant has been growing where you live.) Long enough to know about the berries as well as how high/wide the plant grows? Did you plant it? |
It grew on its own it been growing in two pots of desert rose been growing for months probably even from late last year but I can't be certain when I started cuz it appeared and grows abundantly. |
Exposure & moisture would affect its' habit. It looks like the Pilea to me too. |
