| Achillea, or yarrow, is a hardy and carefree perennial, perfect for a site in full sunshine. The plants can grow to 3' tall. Other suggestions include Artemisia, Gaillardia, Liatris, Oenothera (evening primrose), Salvia, and Melampodium leucanthum (blackfoot daisy). Amend the soil with organic matter prior to planting, to help the soil drain well yet hold moisture for the roots of your new plants. |
