|My hyacinths are extremly droopy...they flowered on time but can't seem to "stand up" at all.....could this be related to not having enough sun or could the bulbs be too old? I'm not sure when they were planted but I can guess that they are over 10 years old.

|It could be due to too little sunshine or being crowded and needing to be lifted and replanted. It is also possible that you have a different variety of hyacinth (or some other minor bulb) which flowers more sparsely and nods naturally. You might want to take a close look at them and compare them to some photos in a good bulb book or catalog and see.
