My Calla Lily is totally 'pot bound'.
Have had it for several years and want to take it out and replant/re pot it.

When is the best time to do this?
How do I go about it?

Pic of the plant attached.

Replant it in the spring! Prior to the bulbs sprouting.

What a beautiful plant, Marilynne! When you work with it in the spring you could split it into 2 or even 3 plants if you'd like more of them. I have some that I've had for over 30 years. They have always grown and bloomed despite some neglect.

Karen .. I cut the foliage off at dirt level, and shove the plant in a dark corner, I MIGHT water it once in 4 months. Come April, along come the sprouts :-)
Looking forward to splitting it in 2018!

That is exactly what I do, Marilyn. Enjoy it! It's certainly beautiful. Mine is the old fashioned plain white one.
