Unfortunately, there is no centralized listing of "new for 2000" perennials. While there may be some newly introduced named varieties of specific plants, such as newly hybridized and registered daylilies or daffodils, these would be tracked by the individual registering bodies. Many nurseries will add plants to their offerings each year and these will be billed as "new" since they are new to that company, even if they are not necsssarily new to the plant world in general. Perhaps The Perennial Plant Association would have something you would find helpful. Their web site is at http://www.perennialplant.org/ or they can be reached at 3383 Schirtzinger Road Hilliard, Ohio 43026 Tel. 614-771-8431 or 614-876-5238 Fax.
