Many dogs, cats and wild animals are attracted to bone meal and will even damage plantings in an effort to get to it. Since it is not intended as an animal food and is not processed as a food material, you might want to take steps to keep the dogs away from it. Should a pet consume it in any quantity you might want to consult with your veterinarian.
