Last fall, I planted tulip bulbs. The tulips are starting to bloom. I need to move the tulips about 2 feet in the same general area to do some repairs.

If I dig the tulips up and re-plant them will they survive the transplant at this stage and continue to bloom?

If you do it carefully and quickly and can dig up the mass of roots under each bulb along with a big chunk of soil, yes. When you do it, replant immediately at the same depth as they grew before and water to settle the soil; with any luck they will never know they were moved.
