What Do The Ants On The Peonys Do? - Knowledgebase Question
Grove City, OH
Question by

I have heard that the ants on peonies are good, but what exactly do they do?

Ants and peonies just seem to go together! The ants are eating sugary "exudate" from the buds. Rather than good, I think I would say they are basically harmless.
