Is there any special way to plant celery{mound, trench,etc}plants?

The transplants would be planted normally, but to blanch them requires some extra steps. You can mound soil up around them or wrap them in a dark cover such as newspaper tied with string. Celery is a very heavy feeder and needs plenty of water, so be sure to prepare the soil extremely well with ample organic matter to a depth of at least a foot.
