|I have recently obtained four Schizanthus Pinnatus plants which are quite wilted but still have buds and flowers on them. I don't know a thing about these plants and would appreciate any information on caring for them.

|Schizanthus pinnatus is commonly called Poor Man's Orchid or Butterfly Flower. It's an annual plant growing to 1 1/2 ft. high in filtered shade and rich, moist soil. They make terrific container plants and the twiggy stems are covered with an abundance of orchid-looking flowers all summer long. With a little TLC your plants should regain their health. Pinch back the wilted portions to encourage thick, bushy growth with lots of flowering stems.
