We have a garden plan designed for us and we are very satisfied with the architecture. Unfortunately, lithrum is on the plan but it has been banned for sale in Pennsylvania.
We are looking for a substitute plant of the same size. The lithrum would have been planted next to Spirea (magic carpet), Catmint (blue wonder) , heuchera (purple palace) , hibiscus syriacus, and crimson pygmy barberry. What would you suggest as a substitution?

Some plants to consider would be liatris, phlox paniculata, false dragonhead, "Herenhausen" oregano, sidalcea, and although it is an annual, you might find a snapdragon of the right color and height.
