I live in Central New York and would like to know if I can plant snap peas the first week in May, if so, after they start coming up do I have to cover them every night in case of frost. I know they like cooler soil, but am concerned about frost killing the plant after they sprout. |
Frost will not kill peas. In fact, they can be planted well before the last expected frost in your area. Don't worry about covering them. |
