Any advice on starting "Shasta Daisy" Burpee seed, Chrysanthemumm maximum.
Can these be planted outdoors or would it be better to start indoors, even at this late date?
Any advice?

These germinate fairly quickly, so could be started indoors or outdoors. You might start them indoors so that you can control the germination process and protect them when very tiny, then quickly acclimate them to the out doors and plant the seedlings in a nursery bed for the summer. Alternatively, you could start the seeds in a nursery bed. By fall the plants should be large enough to transplant into the garden proper and bloom for you next spring.
