I keep my jade plant in a greenhouse. After a healthy fall and winter, it has now developed a white, yeasty looking infestation on the twigs under the leaves. The leaves are not falling, but they do not look as shiny as they used to. What should I do?

This sounds like the start of a mealy bug infestation. If you have the patience, the best thing to do would be to individually remove each of those little growths with a cotton swab or cloth dipped in alcohol. Then, to help keep the plant as vigorous as possible, consider setting it outdoors for the summer rather than keeping it in the greenhouse.
