| I believe you are referring to the new Lychnis variety called Lychnis x 'Molten Lava'. Though I'm not familiar with this new variety, in general Lychnis prefer a sunny location in ordinary, well-drained soil. Because these are generally sold as a bedding plant, I would assume they are an annual variety. There are also biennial and perennial Lychnis; all are generally carefree and reliable plants. |
