|While searching your archives for some information on growing sunflowers (my kids have been wanting to try this for two summers now), I found information about planting a sunflower playhouse. So, I ordered some seeds from you, along with some morning glory seeds (the vines fill in the walls and create the "ceiling," according to what I learned), and I planted the sunflower seeds yesterday, a nice sunny day. Of course, last night we had flash lightening and thunder with hard rain, but my seeds are still out there (even the leftover ones I planted along the hedge and forgot to cover over with soil). Should I plant the morning glory seeds now, or wait til the sunflowers come up? And if I plant them now, how will I know which is which when they come up?? In the process of thinning the seedlings, I'm afraid I will end up with no sunflower walls for my morning glory vines to climb! If it's not painfully obvious by now, I haven't planted a seed in anything larger than a peat pot in my entire life, and I am afraid of disappointing the kids, who came home from school today already wanting to know if the seeds were growing yet! Please help!
