Roses and lavender are good choices for your sunny garden site but begonias and gardenias won't be very happy under those conditions. How about annual asters (in a rainbow of colors), Black-eyed-Susan, nicotiana, dahlias, cosmos, gladiolus, echinacea, Asiatic lilies, liatris and gazania's are all sun-loving plants with brightly colored flowers. Enjoy!
