|I know that worms are benificial for gardens, but can you have to much of a good thing. My lettuce patch is more like a worm garden than a vegetable garden. If I dig into the soil about 4" deep, even less I come up with a dozen worms.

|There is nothing to worry about. It is wonderful to have lots of worm acitivity in the garden. During the spring the worms tend to stay closer to the surface so you see more of them. When the soil warms and the weather turns drier, they will move deeper again. You must have wonderful soil!
