|Hi, this is the second year for my strawberry plants and alot of the fruit is badly shaped. I didn't notice it last year because I didn't let the plants fruit. Is it from lack of water or some mineral deficiency? While some look good others are "clubbed" and others just small. Help!

|Some varieties of strawberry naturally produce unevenly shaped berries, and on all varieties the secondary berries are usually smaller than the first berries produced. Pollination problems can also produce oddly shaped berries. It's not usually considered a big problem for home gardeners as long as they taste good.
