I planted 6 green pepper plants on May 15 that I bought from a nursery. So far they look healthy but have not grown at all. What is the cultivation time for these veggies and what should I look for in growth?? |
Peppers are slow growers and need warm soil as well as warm sunny weather to grow well. They will take some time to become adjusted and well rooted, then should kick into growth. It's a little early to worry yet, although they may possibly be stunted if they have experienced some truly cold nights in the interim. Depending on the variety, you will have from about 60 to 90 days before you pick peppers. |
