Do peonies only bloom once? I'm just wondering if they will continue to bloom throughout the whole season if I cut the flowers or if I deadhead the spent blooms.

Peonies only bloom once a year, in the late spring. It is a good idea to remove the spent blossoms to help reduce the chance of disease, but leave the foliage intact to rebuild the plant's strength to bloom again next year.
