Growing Lentils - Knowledgebase Question

I have planted some red lentils in a pot. They have managed to grow into little plants, that are about 4-5 inches high. The problem, or my question is, are they supposed to be able to stand straight up on their own? Because mine seems to have no way of being able to support its own weight, it's more or less falling back at anything else that can keep it up.

Your lentils are dried split-peas. You'll need to provide some support for the vining plants (as is necessary with all pea plants except those specifically bred to grow into compact little bushes). A trellis or even some string for it to climb on will keep it upright.
