Category: Trees We have been getting more than the usual amount of rain this year. For weeks we have had heavy rains. I planted the tree in mid-May. How can I save it? It gets good sun and some late afternoon shade. |
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do when Mother Nature takes the controls. It certainly sounds like your Japanese Maple is suffering from too much water, but, you can't do much about that. All you can do is hope the young tree makes it through this wet period, surely it will end soon. Most trees will bounce back after this sort of early stress, they just look a little ragged in the meantime. |
