The only reliably perennial poppies for your zone are the big oriental poppies, Papavar orientalis, which are usually propagated by division. Iceland poppies (P. nudicale) may also be perennial but they often do not survive a warm summer. The poppies you named are generally grown as annuals with the seed strewn in the garden in late winter. They are then allowed to self sow from year to year, so you can still have a great display of annual poppies every year with little effort.
