I want to know what type of tomato seeds you suggest for the Pacific Northwest. It is so cold and rainy here.

In cool summer climates you'll want to grow short-season tomato varieties that will produce fruit even when the weather isn't summer-like at all. Some good choices include: Burpee's Early Pick, Medina, Celebrity and Best Boy. Some varieties developed by Oregon State University for western Oregon and western Washington gardens include Oregon Spring, Oregon Eleven and Siletz. Seeds for these tomatoes are available from Territorial Seed Company, PO Box 157, Cottage Grove, OR 97424-0061.
